Starting counselling can be daunting but living with unresolved problems can be even more distressing.
I believe that conditions such as anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem serve as signals that something is preventing us from thriving in our lives. Recognising there is something in your life that you want to change is the most important step of all.
Through my therapy and business career, I've experienced a few of life's twists and turns, and I apply this in my daily therapy practice to help others develop, overcome challenges, and find their own way.
Having encountered all kinds of people and situations, very little surprises me, and I approach every client with an open mind.I've helped elite sportspeople with anxiety and kept a calm head guiding high-performing individuals in business, TV, and music in their personal and professional lives.
Every counselling relationship is unique, and I value each client's individuality when working together. Empowering people to grow in a safe, simple, and practical way is my objective; whether you need short-term, long-term, or open-ended support, I am here to help.
My therapy approach is client driven. I wanted to deliver help but I have used different approaches depending on what works best. In therapy speak this is best described as an integrative approach as it combines a variety approaches and tools together to best help your issues.
It allows me to use different technical approaches combined with my practical style and use of tools. For example, some clients want to explore how past issues are presenting themselves in a structured way while others prefer the freedom to explore better balance through Walk and Talk Therapy.
Together, we will set clear boundaries and explore past and present issues that are impacting your life, and we will discover a path to move forward.

Feeling stuck in a rut can be overwhelming. There's too much going on in your head to think straight. Your mind is chasing a solution but the harder you search, the louder noise gets from all the things you have to think about.
You might be struggling with something current or perhaps the past is trying to get you to hold on to what seems like the comfort of familiar things. Maybe you're not even sure what the problem is.
The simple truth is that at some point the fear of changing to find what really inspires us (and being judged as ‘less than’ and ‘a failure’) will become less intense than knowing the pain of regretting not ever trying. The key thing is not to miss the chance to do something about it and being stuck with ’what if’.
I want to help you experience the change you may need to make. The particular problem you face is less important than finding the sense of purpose and autonomy to overcome it.
It is not just fixing the problem in front of you that helps (another problem will replace it!), it is exploring why you got there, how you think and how not to go back but to go forward in the future.
I aim to offer you a safe and objective space to share how you feel. From there we build trust as I can help you identify how to look differently at your immediate situation. Then, if you want to, we will explore how you can see yourself differently too.
I won’t offer expectations or shiny promises, but I can offer you this reassurance based on my experience: I’ve never worked with a client who hasn’t felt inspired to want to change something about how they see themselves, their environment and the relationships they have with others. I’m proud of that.
I’d love to start a conversation with you about helping you see things differently. There is nothing to lose and so much to gain. Be brave and start that conversation today.
